After studying cabinet-making and wood work in general, Theo Jan leaves Toulouse for Paris to work as a framer himself, while continuing to improve his own style as an illustrator.

is inspired by first his father's work, and other artists such as Molitz and Moebius.
is fascinated by the technic of engraving (dry point) which he revists in his work using rotring.
His first series of illustrations entitled "Carcass" presents a very detailed work with a strong reference to the classic fauna engravings.
The artist currently works on a new series of objects from the everyday life.
He also collaborates with Steeven Salvat on illustrations and works with Sergeant Paper since 2011 as a printer.
